When national homebuilder Lennar came into the marketplace in 2012, Matrix Real Estate was retained to manage their sales and marketing. While Lennar would typically take all sales and marketing in-house, they saw the value in our local market knowledge and expertise to assist during their launch period.
Working as a team with Lennar staff both locally and nationally, Matrix assisted with site analysis and evaluation, lot fits, specification levels and floorplan review. We advised Lennar on sales release strategy, pricing and marketing, including development of the overall marketing budget, sales events, broker outreach and advertising plan that launched them in the Seattle marketplace. We coordinated with their national marketing team to develop graphic design collateral and Seattle’s online presence with Lennar. Finally, we managed the weekly competition reports, sales team hiring and daily oversight, sales process, and the online database development and management.
Overall, we were involved in the launch of 36 new communities, selling over 600 homes over two years.
Once Lennar was launched in the marketplace, we turned the keys and sales staff over to them to manage in-house as they do with their other divisions.
